Flying the BNT Banner at the 2012 AGM

As in previous years, we are making a weekend of it! See the latest Tracks magazine for details.

4 October – On Friday evening there will be an informal meal and get together at Wongabel Stables.

5 October – On Saturday join us for lunch from 12.00 (everyone welcome) followed by the Annual General Meeting at 2.00. Once we close the formalities there will be an open forum which provides an opportunity for members to discuss matters BNT. The AGM will be held at Halloran’s Hill Hall, Twelfth Ave, Atherton. In the evening, join us for dinner at the Pagoda Restaurant .

6 October – For Board members Sunday will be a day of meetings with a morning meeting with Section Coordinators from the area and a Board meeting in the afternoon. Members can take advantage of the delights of the Atherton Tableland. Dinner at the Atherton Hotel in the evening will be an informal affair.

7 October – Monday is a Public Holiday!

This year we will be putting a special resolution to the AGM. The motion to be put to the meeting will be: “That the Company adopt a new constitution as circulated.”  A draft copy of the constitution has been sent  to all members with the latest  Tracks magazine. The proposed constitution does not change the objects of the BNT but modernises the terms and updates the format and puts it all in a more readable format.

We look forward to seeing members and supporters in Atherton!

Recollections

We chose to put ourselves under pressure, we chose the timeline, and we chose the trail, but what we didn’t chose were all the challenges that came up every single day but which, over time, we learnt to be grateful
